AutoPause
It starts itself again
Every sleep timer stops your audio once. AutoPause keeps doing it. Set a timer and it stops your audiobook, podcast or music after that long, like any sleep timer. The difference is what happens next: press play again and the timer is already back on. No reopening the app, no setting it again, no unlocking your phone.

The 3am problem
If you fall asleep to audio and wake through the night, you know the routine. Unlock the phone. Open the app. Press play. Set the sleep timer again, because it never remembers. AutoPause records how many times playback restarted each night, which for most people is the moment they realise how often it actually happens.

Without touching your phone
Pair AutoPause with a physical play button and the phone can stay face down until morning. A cheap Bluetooth remote clipped to the bed works. So does a sleep headband with play and pause on the side, or earbuds with playback controls on them. Press the button, drift off, the audio stops itself.

Made for the middle of the night
Audio fades out rather than stopping dead, so the silence does not wake you. The countdown sits in your notification shade if you want to see it, and stays out of the way if you do not. The whole interface is deliberately plain and dim, because you are looking at it in the dark.
