The below outlines all of Playface's policies including code of conduct for all of our events, our sales and purchasing policy and our data privacy policy. If you have any questions please get in contact.

• Purchase Policy

  These Terms and Conditions govern the sale and use of tickets for Playface. By purchasing tickets to our comedy events, you agree to abide by the following terms:

  1. Ticket and Gift Voucher Purchase

  • Ticket and gift voucher prices are as advertised and may be subject to additional fees, including booking fees and taxes.
  • Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase. We accept payment by credit card, debit card, and other approved payment methods.
  • Tickets and gift vouchers are non-transferable and may not be resold without prior authorisation from Playface.

  2. Ticket and Gift Voucher Availability

  • Ticket and gift voucher availability is on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to capacity limits set by the venue or workshop.
  • Playface reserves the right to limit the number of tickets or vouchers available for purchase per person or per transaction.

  3. Gift Voucher Redemption

  • Gift vouchers can only be redeemed against workshops, classes, courses and shows provided and sold by Playface.
  • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or used to purchase other gift vouchers.
  • To redeem a voucher, you can use the voucher code on the Playface website or contact Playface.

  4. Gift Voucher Validity

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified.
  • Any remaining balance after the expiry date will be forfeited.

  5. Ticket and Gift Voucher Resale/Transfer

  • Tickets purchased for Playface events are intended for personal use. However, if you have bought a ticket for a friend or need to transfer your ticket, please contact us to ensure the correct pre-event information is shared.
  • Gift vouchers are non-transferable and can only be used by the person named on the voucher (if applicable).

  6. Refund and Cancellation Policy

  6.1. Tickets:

  • If a cancellation is made more than 2 weeks before the start of the event, you will receive a full refund, minus any applicable charges.
  • If a cancellation is made less than 2 weeks before the start of the event, you will be charged 50% of the fee.
  • If a cancellation is made less than 1 week before the start of the event, you will be charged 100% of the fee.
  • In exceptional circumstances, please contact us, and we’ll do our best to resolve the situation fairly for both parties.
  • Playface reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances, such as venue issues, performer availability, or public health concerns. Ticket holders will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price in such cases.

  6.2. Gift Vouchers:

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable, except as required by law.
  • If a workshop is cancelled by Playface, the voucher holder will be offered an alternative date or a credit for a future workshop.

  7. Partial Redemption of Gift Vouchers

  • If the full value of a voucher is not used in one transaction, the remaining balance can be carried over and used within the validity period.
  • No cash refunds will be given for unused balances.

  8. Lost or Stolen Vouchers

  • Playface is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged vouchers, and replacements will not be issued.

  9. Event Entry

  • Admission to our events is subject to the terms and conditions of the venue, as well as any additional rules or regulations specified by Playface.
  • Ticket holders must present valid identification and/or tickets for entry to the event. Entry may be denied to individuals without valid tickets or identification.
  • Playface reserves the right to refuse entry or remove individuals from the event premises for reasons including, but not limited to, disruptive behaviour, intoxication, or violation of venue policies.

  10. Liability

  • Playface shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred by ticket holders or voucher holders while attending our events, except in cases of negligence or wilful misconduct on the part of Playface.
  • Attendees assume responsibility for their actions and safety while on the event premises.

  11. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

  12. Modification and Updates

  • Playface reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
  • Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other communication channels.
  • Customers are encouraged to review these Terms and Conditions periodically for updates or changes.

• Data Protection Policy

  This Data Protection Policy outlines how Playface, referred to as "we" or "us", collects, uses, and protects your personal data. We take the privacy and security of your information seriously and are committed to ensuring that your data is handled responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

  1. Data Collection

  We collect various types of data through our website and ticket sales processes to facilitate your interaction with Playface. This data may include:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • IP address (automatically collected)
  • Web browser type and version (automatically collected)
  • Operating system (automatically collected)

  2. How We Use Your Information

  We use the data collected for the following purposes:

  • To process ticket purchases and deliver tickets to you
  • To send marketing communications, including event updates and promotions, if you have opted in to receive them
  • To contact you directly regarding event details or changes, if necessary
  • To improve our products and services and enhance your experience with Playface

  3. Photography and videography 

  During our events, Playface may take photos and videos for use on Playface's website, social media platforms, and promotional materials. By participating in our events, you grant Playface permission to use your likeness in such photos and videos.

  While permission is automatically granted for the use of photos and videos, we will always verbally inform participants at the start of the event that photos and videos may be taken. Participants have the right to request not to be included in photos or videos and can withdraw their consent at any time by emailing comedy@playface.fun. 

  If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform a member of the Playface team at the beginning of the event.

  4. Data Security

  We are committed to ensuring that your data is stored securely and protected against unauthorised access, disclosure, or alteration. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard your data, including encryption and access controls.

  5. Data Retention

  We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law. You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time, subject to legal obligations and legitimate business interests.

  6. Data Sharing

  We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We may share your data with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our website, processing payments, or delivering marketing communications. These providers are contractually obligated to use your data only for the purposes specified by Playface and in compliance with applicable laws.

• Code of Conduct

  Playface aims to make a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone. We provide fun, playful, informative and safe environments for everyone whether this is in our workshops and courses or shows and community events. 

  We welcome everyone of all ages, genders, ethnic backgrounds, physical abilities, cultural views, sexual orientations, religions and nationalities. 

  We follow the below guidelines and ask our students and anyone associated with Playface to also follow these:

  • Respect others
  • Respect personal boundaries (mentally and physically) and do not make physical contact without consent
  • Do not consume alcohol or drugs before a Playface workshop, course or show (if performing) 
  • Listen and support each other 
  • Co-create a positive environment for learning and enjoyment
  • Difficult subject matter may arise through the improvised nature of our workshops. Anyone is entitled to stop the scene or exercises without being questioned. It is the Playface teacher’s responsibility to check in with that person at an appropriate time if deemed necessary
